I have a severe case of not being able to pull the trigger on personal purchases, almost like a phobia. Finally I held my breath and bought a Qnap DAs and four drives today.

I’m not exaggerating… it’s been years. It’s a hellish thing that holds me back so much in life. But I’m happy about it.

I’m always writing this from a completely failing ancient Thinkpad t480, which I need to reboot hourly and it’s a tool for which I make all my money and it can’t fail on me, and yet I’ve left the house the last 3-4 days to buy a m4 mac mini and I just can’t even enter the store. I’ll have to hold my breath and just do it tomorrow. It’s not like I don’t have the money in my account. Just for show, I wanted to also get a macbook air, because I realisticly need both. Perhaps that’s overcorrecting a bit too much, I don’t know.
